AI inside · live in production

AI that does the paperwork, not the dentistry.

Dentella is an AI-powered practice management platform built in India for Indian dental clinics. Its AI listens, reads and drafts — clinical notes, prescriptions, case records, patient replies, screening summaries — in Indian languages. Your team approves everything before it becomes a record.

Five AI features, one clinic record

Each one is built into the records, chats and kiosk your clinic already runs on Dentella.

AI Voice Scribe

The consultation becomes the note.

Talk to your patient the way you always do. Dentella listens, separates who said what, and drafts a structured clinical note, a prescription and a case-sheet suggestion — in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and other Indian languages as well as English, even when the conversation switches mid-sentence.

Free tier · Premium ₹1,999 + GST per 30-hour pack
Prepaid packs, no subscription. About ₹67 per audio-hour.

AI Case Records

The case sheet fills itself in, line by line.

From the scribe's drafted note, Dentella proposes case-sheet entries: the chief complaint, diagnosis and findings in the dentist's own words, and the treatments discussed, matched to your clinic's configured treatment list so an accepted item carries its price and GST straight into the treatment plan. The dentist accepts or dismisses each entry one by one.

Included with the Premium scribe
Works from a scribe-drafted note; every entry is confirmed by the dentist.

AI Reply Drafts

Faster answers, still your words.

When a patient messages the clinic in Dentella's patient chat after a visit, Dentella reads the visit context — the procedure, the prescription, the advice given — and drafts a reply. Your front desk or dentist reviews, edits and sends. Messages that sound urgent are flagged straight to the treating dentist.

AI Self-Screening

A first look before the first look.

At the clinic kiosk, the patient takes a guided photo series of their mouth with a cheek retractor. AI produces a preliminary screening summary that lands on the chairside card, so the dentist starts the exam already knowing where to look. Consent is recorded every time.

₹499/month + GST
Fair use 300 scans a month. Not offered to minors without a guardian.

AI Voice Check-in

Patients speak. The form fills itself.

Walk-ins tell the clinic kiosk what is wrong in their own language. Dentella turns that into intake fields, reads them back, and lets the patient correct anything on screen before it reaches reception. The AI fills slots; it never decides what happens next.

₹299/month + GST
100 check-ins a month included.

How we keep AI safe in a clinic

The rules every Dentella AI feature follows, without exception.

Drafts, never decisions

Every AI output — note, prescription, reply, screening summary — is a draft until someone on your team approves it. AI cannot write to a medical record on its own.

Built for Indian clinics

Indian-language and code-switched speech, rupee pricing, and models tuned on Indian accents rather than a US product with an India price list.

Data stays in India

Transcription and note generation run on India-hosted models and Dentella's own AWS Mumbai infrastructure. Audio is deleted once it has been transcribed.

Part of the record, not another app

The scribe writes into the same clinical notes, prescriptions and case sheets your clinic already keeps in Dentella — no copy-paste from a separate scribe tool.

Why not a generic AI scribe app?

Most AI scribes were built for English-speaking clinics abroad and bolted onto whatever software you already use.

A standalone scribe

  • Tuned for native English; Indian accents and Hinglish degrade accuracy
  • Priced in dollars per provider per month
  • Notes live in the scribe app — copied by hand into your records
  • Data processed abroad

Dentella

  • Indian languages and code-switching, tuned on Indian accents
  • Rupee pricing: free tier, or ₹1,999 + GST per 30 prepaid hours
  • Drafts land in the clinical note, prescription and case sheet directly
  • Processed and stored in India, DPDP-aligned, audio deleted after use

Common questions

What AI features does Dentella offer dental clinics?
Five, all live today: an AI Voice Scribe that drafts clinical notes and prescriptions from the chairside conversation; AI Case Records that propose case-sheet entries and treatments from that note; AI Reply Drafts in the patient chat; AI Self-Screening from guided kiosk photos; and AI Voice Check-in for spoken intake at the front-desk kiosk. Every output is a draft a human approves.
Does Dentella use AI in case records?
Yes. Once the scribe has drafted a note, Dentella proposes case-sheet entries from it: the chief complaint, diagnosis and findings, and the treatments that were discussed, matched to the clinic's own treatment list so an accepted treatment carries its configured price and GST into the plan. The dentist accepts or dismisses every entry individually; nothing is added to the case record automatically.
Does the AI Voice Scribe work in Indian languages?
Yes. The Premium engine transcribes Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Odia and English, including conversations that switch language mid-sentence, and it is tuned for Indian accents. The free tier uses your browser's on-device speech recognition, so language support there depends on the device.
How much does Dentella's AI scribe cost?
The free tier costs nothing and gives you a live transcript. The Premium tier is sold as a prepaid 30-hour pack for ₹1,999 plus GST — roughly ₹67 per audio-hour — with no monthly subscription. Packs are topped up online from the clinic portal.
Can the AI write directly into a patient's record?
No, by design. The scribe produces a draft note, a draft prescription and a case-sheet suggestion; the dentist reviews and saves them through the normal clinical-notes flow, which is immutable once committed. An ambient microphone can never put a diagnosis into a medical record on its own.
Where is patient audio and data processed?
In India. Speech-to-text and note generation use India-hosted speech and language models, and Dentella itself runs on AWS Mumbai. Audio is deleted after transcription; only the transcript and the drafts are kept, inside the clinic's own encrypted records. Dentella is built for India's DPDP Act 2023.
Do I need special hardware for the AI scribe?
No. It runs in the browser on the laptop, tablet or phone already at the chair, using its microphone. AI Self-Screening and AI Voice Check-in run on the clinic kiosk tablet; self-screening uses a standard cheek retractor.
Is Dentella the same as Dentally?
No. Dentella (dentella.app) is an Indian AI-powered dental platform made by Dentra Connect, Chennai. Dentally is an unrelated UK/Canada practice-management product. Dentella is also unrelated to dentella.qa (nightwear) and to the Dentella plant genus.
